Now accepting new patients!
Dr. Heather Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders in 2012 and a Doctor of Audiology degree in 2018 both from Idaho State University. She completed her residency at St. Luke’s Elks Hearing and Balance in the Treasure Valley of Idaho with a special emphasis on vestibular assessments and auditory brainstem response evaluations and interpretation.
Dr. Smith has over seven years of experience as a board-certified audiologist from a busy audiology clinic where she provided hearing care to patients of all ages. She was also the supervising pediatric audiologist for Southern Utah and oversaw the newborn hearing screening program. She has participated in two humanitarian missions to Peru and Mexico where hearing care was provided and donated hearing aids were fit on individuals of all ages with mild to profound hearing loss.
Dr. Smith has a warm and comprehensive approach to her hearing care. She gets to know her patients and is determined to provide the best hearing care possible. Her goals are to meet patients where they are at, administer thorough and accurate hearing evaluations using current technology, to clearly explain the results, and provide the best hearing solutions to her patients.
Dr. Smith and her husband Jeff live in St George and are the proud parents of seven children and have one grandchild. She enjoys playing the guitar, hiking, kayaking and bicycling in beautiful Southern Utah.
